Tools for the Higher Performance in ISSF Olympic style target shooting is your new Habit – “Sharpen the Saw.”

What do I mean by that? You may already be familiar with the concept from reading the book “Seven Habits of Highly Effective People,” by Stephen R. Covey. Are you really doing something toward your higher performance in your favorite sport?  Yes you may find yourself busy talking about wide range of choices of available brands and qualities of ammo and variety of options in your tool like different grips or points of trigger shoe adjustment.  But real question remains the same: were you able to move your score performance up by 5-10 points in your constant competitive performance?  Did you really invest in yourself besides buying better equipment? The real game is self-improvement and self discovery. Stop for the moment. Think about what you’re doing. Get professional advice and move forward toward your real goal in your competitive performance.

Do your homework. Think about what is available to you. Define your goal target performance. Create the performance plan. Discuss your steps with your mentor or coach. If you do not have this option, then ask highly successful people in your industry to point your attention to this source of information. Measure your steps for your new successful performance, and good luck!
